Jung Kook, a member of the BTS, has a lot of tattoos on his body and has been criticized for it. He recently spoke up about it through a live broadcast on the fan platform Weverse on the 2nd. He admitted that he wouldn't deny his past self, and thus he had no intention of erasing the tattoos, it's like you're denying your past self. I'm still me then, " he explained in a witty manner, making it clear that he won't be getting rid of the tattoos.

To him, they are a reminder of the past and carry a deep significance. His first tatoo is labeled "ARMY" , the name of his fan club, which he proudly displayed on his finger and said that his followers should be proud of it too. He jokingly stated, "It doesn't make sense to get it if the ARMY can's see it, " explaining that it also spoke of the tattoo on his forearm, which consists of the date 110604 when Jungkook moved to Seoul from Busan, as well as the English words "Tiger Flower" and "Please love me."

Jung Kook said that he inked a clock, microphone and a musical note to signify that "he was destined to be a singer from birth". He also got an eye-shaped tattoo as a reminder to be careful of his behavior. Jungkook later changed the eye tattoo to 'Bulletproof' in order to represent BTS. He also has a number seven tattoo behind his ear, which he got along with the other BTS members to signify their friendhip. The members chose the positions they wanted and each has the number seven engraved in it.
